Brighton’s young players to be trained in sexual consent

• Training reported to be given by former police detective and psychotherapist

• Initiative follows attention on Ched Evans rape conviction case

Young players at Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly being trained on issues around sexual consent.

All young male and female footballers at the Championship club are being given guidance on the law around consent as part of the Protect, Inform and Prevent programme, the BBC said.
