Rodrigo Paiva says he acted in self defence

Fifa is considering action against a Brazilian football confederation spokesman over a confrontation with a Chile player on the sidelines of their teams World Cup match on Saturday. Rodrigo Paiva said that he shoved the Chile substitute Mauricio Pinilla in self-defence.

There has been an incident and the disciplinary committee are currently analyzing the matter, said Fifa.
