Coach Alen Stajcic liked what he saw as the Matildas launched their Fifa Women’s World Cup build up with a 2-1 win over North Korea in Auckland.

All the goals came into the first half as Matildas skipper Clare Polkinghorne opened the scoring before Kim Yun Mi got the equaliser then Michelle Heyman grabbed what proved to be the winner.
