Bradley Wiggins tickets for hour record attempt sell out in seven minutes

• Olympian to make bid at Lee Valley VeloPark

Tickets for Sir Bradley Wiggins’ hour record attempt went on sale on Friday and had gone in seven minutes.

The 34-year-old four-times Olympic champion and 2012 Tour de France winner will attempt to cycle as far as he can in 60 minutes at the Lee Valley VeloPark, formerly known as the Olympic Velodrome, on 7 June.
