Days after threatening to reveal “mischievous things” about the International Cricket Council, the governing body’s president, Mustafa Kamal, has resigned with an outspoken attack on its officials.

Kamal said he had resigned after being denied the right as ICC head to award the World Cup trophy to the winners Australia in Sunday’s final in Melbourne.
