Six months on from the crash which left Jules Bianchi in a coma, his father has spoken of the “daily torture” the Bianchi family have endured. The driver, who competed last season for Marussia, remains unconscious in hospital after injuries sustained when his car ran into the back of a mobile crane at last October’s Japanese Grand Prix.
Speaking to French newspaper Nice-Matin, Philippe Bianchi said: “He is fiercely fighting, as he always did before the accident. Every day, Jules is running a marathon. All of his organs are working without assistance but he remains unconscious.
