• Graeme McDowell has share of lead in the RBC Heritage
The European Tour has announced Keith Pelley, a 51-year-old Canadian, will succeed George O’Grady as its chief executive from this summer.
Pelley has been recruited from Rogers Media in his homeland, of which he was president since 2010, with previous experience across a range of Canadian sports and media outlets. It was confirmed last November that O’Grady would step aside to take up a newly-created role as president of international relations; the Tour underwent a subsequent recruitment process without Pelley’s name entering the public domain at any point.
