Melbourne City remain in the box seat to claim the sixth and final A-League playoff spot despite being held to a 1-1 draw by lowly Western Sydney.
Yojiro Takahagi put the Wanderers in front, with Harry Novillo levelling for City before the break at Parramatta Stadium. With three rounds remaining, City now sit six points ahead of seventh-placed Brisbane, who have a game in hand.
