Canadian author Joseph Boyden, highly praised for his fiction depicting Indigenous heritage, culture and history, speaks out to defend his Indigenous roots after his ancestry was probed by Aboriginal Peoples Television Network. Boyden took to Twitter after the APTN article reported there is a lack of evidence to support the account he has given of his ancestry.
