The Syrian army has announced a comprehensive nationwide cease-fire as of midnight. Syrian TV said the ceasefire would allow new negotiations to end the six year civil war. Russia and Turkey will acts as guarantors. Rebel groups exclusive of Islamic State have agreed to the truce.
