Sugar Mobile — an upstart provider offering wireless plans for as little as $19 a month — lost 80 to 90 per cent of its subscribers when the CRTC sided with Rogers and ordered it off the big telco's network. But a call to review that decision has thrown Sugar a lifeline, boosting hopes for more competition in Canada's wireless sector.
