Haider al-Abadi, the Prime Minister of Iraq, has formally declared the fall of ISIS in Mosul. After months of bloody fighting, troops are going after the last few pockets of ISIS resistance. Mosul was made the capital of ISIS' Iraqi 'caliphate' in 2014. The ensuing fighting has forced over 800,000 people from their homes. Militants still control large areas of rural Iraq.
