Category 5 hurricane Maria slashed through Dominica, leaving death and destruction in its wake as it pummels the Caribbean. One person has died and two are missing in Guadeloupe, while Dominica is left virtually cut off from the rest of the world. Puerto Rico braces for possible full impact, as it appears to be next on Maria's tracks.
