Workers who helped clean up nuclear accidents at Chalk River in 1950s still waiting for compensation

Retired AECL workers were first on the scene to clean up after two serious incidents at the Chalk River nuclear reactor in the 1950s before military personnel were called in. Fifty years later, Canadian Forces members were compensated for the exposure to radiation they suffered as a result, but AECL workers are still waiting.
